Let's Doula This Shh!

Navigating the hospital system, especially being a person of color, can be dangerous if you are not educated on how to do so. This means knowing the difference between policy, procedure, routine care, doctors' preference or skill and your rights. This class is designed to educate and empower you so that you can make an informed decision, advocate for yourself and  birth your way.
♥ Week 1- Nutrition help combat any gestational diagnosis and choosing your birth team and support.
♥ Week 2- Anatomy, stages of labor, hospital protocols, packing for the hospital and immediate postpartum choices for you and your baby.
♥ Week 3- Birth preparation philosophies, developing your philosophies and plan, expectations, relaxation and birth techniques.
♥ Week 4- Fact or fiction, complications, partner support, plan B, and dress rehearsal.
